I understand how you hear that, but I really don't think that's what he's saying. It's a possibility, but I'm pretty sure it's "we" because that's how Brian Aubert seems to be pronouncing his W's on this album. It's kind of hard to explain... sort of like how people say Wh with Hw, only he puts a lot of emphasis on it for some reason.
Or you could be right and I'm just making myself look like an idiot. |

How about never, in the first line? That really doesn't sound like what he's saying, but I can't seem to think of anything else it could be. |

Yeah, after listening to it now, it definitely seems like that's what he's saying.
It's odd how at first I heard Clown, then Cloud, and now I hear Ground.

I'm pretty sure (candlelight) is "came to life". After "To expire", I'm pretty sure it's "With ourselves in mind".
I have no idea what varicose is supposed to be though. I definitely hear an n in there some where, sort of sounds like "barren colds", or coats, or something, but I really don't know. |
