i think its about a breakup . scene: He is fighting with his girlfriend, it started out as a simple fight, , it turns out of control in rage you make the fighting too sore : "Don't you know it's hard, quite, in the time of confusion To tell you that I love you". you say you dnt love when u are fighting. its hard to tell the person that you love when u are fighting. She is angry . He is explaining it could have been me in your place hurt by you. Or i could have been you and said it right at the right time. But it wasnt so. and now we have lost all the love. and have to face the truth of growing apart. its about your own interpretation. Thats the beauty of it. Making it so vague allows you to run your thoughts wild and satisfies each one of us who listens to it . Isnt he talking of his girlfriend commiting suicide ( turn all your colors to white ? white as death? ) (Laying beside you as cold as a statue , your hands are still warm) beside his bed? and he cant wake her up and he sees that a new day has begun, in a sombre way and that the time has passed when u could have saved her? Doesnt he sound sad about the new day beginning, of losing everything and starting with a blank ? |
