| I'm guessing what LNikky said is correct, but personally I veiw it differently. I think It's about a couple just coming out of the honeymoon phase in a relationship, so they're not as into it as they were, but they're used to routine of saying I love you but they dont say it with the same meaning anymore. I think the song starts off kind of sad, "well I guess we made it, or at least we made it this far" to me sounds apathetic, especially the way he sings it. It's like we're been together so long and it's not like anythings wrong, and they by the end of the song he's basically (well to me anyway) saying that He's going to cling to it and they'll get the new love feeling back. | |

ok right... music is opinion not fact... just thought id say that.. i used to like busted when i was younger when they first came out only for the sole reason that everyone else did and anyway i rcently found their album so i listened to it and like pissed myself laughing at home much inuenndo and plain out sex there is and i imagined all the little 9/10 year olds singing along to songs like this haha. yeah my secret pleasure is ever since i found that album me and my friends every now and again just sing busted songs... they're crap but thats what i love about em... now dont tell me to listen to real music because i do! I love muse, wilco, fiona apple, sonic youth, relient k and more. anyway yeah now for the MEANING of the song just so someone can put it up... this guy is going out with this girl and she keeps being a real tease and stuff making him think shes gonna have sex with him and *ahem* "go all the way* but she keeps changeing her mind and *ahem* leaving him "unseen to" busted's songs may be horrible but they are catchy and bring back a sense of nostalgia for me :P and i still find it hilarious how horny teenagery boyish their songs are! |

I watched this movie last night, first time i've seen it in like 7 years hehe, its amazing, what happened to THIS disney? I'm sure the Aisley Tisdale version isnt so bad, i didnt really listen that well, i judgement was too clouded by the fact that it WASN'T SEBASTIAN!!!! :O But yeah i forgot how much i love this song. I mean the way its done your pretty much almost screaming at the tele. hehe, i've had moments like that hehe, not exacly kissing but you know like two friends who really like eachother and you there like. JUST FIGGEN ASK HER OUT! any way i love this song and right after the movie I dowloaded it and it's been on repeat since this mourning and i plan on keeping it that way for a while! I love how RElient k's lyrics and songs are so easy to relate to. To me i think the meaning of this song is simple. He has a Crush on a Girl and in his mind he keeps imagining all the different ways that they can be together (like alot of teenage crushes) and he keeps dreaming that one day they'll be together, And he isn't sure if she likes him or not so in his mind he keeps thinking and thinking. He doesn't think she likes him but isn't entirely sure and is too afraid to do anything so instead is over thinking the whole thing. and the song is bacically how hes so fed up with wasteing all this time thinking and bascially crushing over a girl. That's what i think the song is about, but hey im not sure i know that's what i take. It really is (as saaid in song) a guy/girl cliche. I LOVE this song, and relient K. What i love about this song is that it's so cheezy, i mean you can't deney it, and it has a catchy pop-ish toon. Many Pop songs are catchy and extremly cheezy yet they have no really meaning, they atr just a crap cheezy pop song but with this song you can actually feel that everything Matt is saying he really means, that he manages to pull off the cheeseyness and it is quite obvious, just something about it, that this song was written for a very special someone and everytime i listen to this song i just smile and become extremly happy, so happy i almost cry. why? because i'm not really good at trusting guys, like i had neglectful, cheating father and this song just makes me know that there are some guys out their who are so sweet and kind and actually really love a specific girl. It makes me so happy and gives me so much hope that this upbeat cheezy song was written for a girl or something. Am i making sense? i know it's just a cheezy love song but it just makes me so extremly happy and assures me that their are good guys out their and i find it scary how i can actally sense the love in the song :) |
