Kings of Leon never fail to deliver with poor easy to read lyrics. Why all the commotion? if you want to discuss the meaning of somebodies lyrics why not venture to libertines/babyshambles/pete doherty. he is a songwriter that comes along once in a generation. London falling to its knees, division of classes, and the one you kings of leon nuts just love, drugs. Kings of leon have never stretched themselves to anything more adventurous than sex with groupies and drink and drugs. if you sign up to a website discussing lyrics meanings, do it some credit. |

The horse is ketamin. its a horrorshow because he was out of it. the end of the song doesn't seem like it is going to be the end. it ends with the line the horse is brown the ketamin was infact heroin. game over. thats why theres an abrupt end. in my opinion.
People who like to believe that its about his relationships or evryday life may like to kid themselves. the man is addicted to drugs and writes songs while on drugs it shows massively that his lyrics are dominated by this. even songs where he does talk about relationships they involve drugs. i would imagine he would have ideas of what he wanted to write about references about what he left in moscow etc... but ultimately the drugs will have taken over. |
