| Joe Budden – Angel in My Life Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| The entire album is Budden wrestling with his own thoughts, ideas, and feelings inside a "Padded room" (probably his mind). This song is the story about someone going crazy. The 1st verse is about him fighting depression and feelings of inadequecy with material things and women to cover them up or make him feel beter. It started when he started smoking blunts/drugs(Started when they passed the L said just try it). His depression gets to the point where he's constantly thinking about death and eventually he's committed. By verse two he's been committed and has been labeled as a psychotic by the doctors which frustrates him becasue he feels he's just misunderstood or not being listened too. In the end he's locked up alone in a padded room with just his thoughts which are obviously just going to drive him crazier. | |

These Lyrics are wrong, it's not... A subtle silence To demolish the troubled conscious Of a compass with no knowledge And every freedom denied It is... A subtle silence To demolish the troubled conscious Of a populace with no knowledge And every freedom denied Now doesn't that make more sense? |
