i think this song has a definite war symbolism to it. i see "i won't be left here, behind closed doors" as a metaphor for not wanting the truth to be hidden from them. it's senseless WAR not senseless revolution. fighting for a cause they don't (or can't) understand, every soldier fights because it's the only way to get out of their situation cuz they don't know the truth behind it all. that's just how i see it tho. |
