currently my favorite soad song. Great for driving (haha) but anyway, the song makes me think of a guy just going his own way, and it's kind of a lonely journey and it's not like he always has control over where he's going - then it's like he has this new acquaintance who seems to be looking to him for some direction and he's asking that person if he/she would want someone like _him_ to do the leading, given the way he goes about leading his own life. Or something. In summary: Lonely person (not necessarily a loner). Meets Friend. Asks: "Do you really want me to give you direction?" |

I read the other interpretations and some make a lot more sense than this, but the part that goes: "Melting the sun, melting the sun! Who wants to come with me im melting the sun! Hide in the sky, hide in the sky! Who wants to come with me and hide in the sky!" always makes me think of a fighter pilot. And the part that goes "Come join the cause, come join the cause! Who wants to come with me and come join the cause!" makes me think of army recruitment. That said, it's a great song to listen to. |

sigh, perhaps the song i dislike the most out of all the ones they released. (It's the only one i took off my library) Never really had a taste for this kind of sound. :( even the lyrics don't mean much to me. |
