I've got to agree with moonlight41. Listening to this song, the tempo as well as the lyrics, reminded me very much of the "slow prom dance" as well as whatever else may go along with that, including having sex for the first time. I could also see how it might refer to death, but I feel like that's a bit morbid for such a beautiful song, and interrupting it as such would be over analyzing the lyrics. |
