well they said they were laughing when they wrote all their big hits (electric feel, time to pretend, kids). so i think they made this album to represent the "real" MGMT which came through on the second part of the album. |

i think the smoke alarm was the reason that "It was too loud for me to hear her speak" cuz the smoke alarm was making all the noise and she was trying to fix it. And "broken arm" is there cuz it simply rhymes with "smoke alarm". |
