This whole song has a fucked up apocalyptic feel to me. And in a sublimely and perfectly beautiful way it sounds like two people dieing. |

I think this is much more accurate than "Hungry Bears" (no offense marillchu). I think the persian kitties part is spose to be 'stay out of the train' and towards the end, I don't think it says Here's to winning rabbits I think its just you could win a rabbit. That's what my ears tell me at least. |

I think its about how fucked up the world and peoples values are, particularly those of the greedy, the cocky, and the meatheads. "gotta find a way, better way" could be saying that he needs to form his own opinions instead of following the ways of other men in spending his life trying to one-up himself, and be the biggest and the baddest, OR maybe its an inner struggle to or not to commit suicide. |

I think this song tells a story of a time when she would cling to things that she once thought were important (diamonds), which were replaced by someone she met. " You despise any weight" and "you give it up" means he doesn't care about that bullshit (the diamonds). "We were two till we melted down" - love united them as one. Basically its about someone she met who had nothing to hide, who altered her entire perception on life, which I can very much relate to. |

I think its about how life is messy and sometimes shit gets fucked up but you have to pull through because its all been pre planned by god and he won't let you down. Personally I'm unsure on my take on this concept but its still a beautiful song. |
