Great song. So . Pretty much. Beginning of this song seems to talk about a girl that throws herself at every and any guy. Not because she wants this "fun and love". It' because she hates herself. "I just want every boy I see To walk away with part of me Until there's nothing left to hold Until there's nothing left to hate I appreciate your help But even you can't save me from myself" ... until there's nothing left to hate. She doesn't want "any more" of herself, if that makes any sense. she wants "all of her" to be gone "until there's nothing left to hold/hate". And they writer, I took it, was the guy she was dating but cheated on: "It's not like I am weak Or that I don't know how to leave It's just that every time you cheat You bring me closer to defeat Until there's nothing left to love Until there's nothing left to say I know that you need help But even I can't save you from yourself" Every time she cheats... he loves her less(?) and he can't say as much... he wants to help her but he knows he can't because the problem is inside of her. Depressing song about a sad (dare i say hopeless?) girl. |
