i agree with foreverhis888 this song is talkting about how everyone tries to fill their lives with things that they think will satify them but in the end they just end up feeling empty and lost. we look for happiness in the places we shouldn't, we think that a person, material object, a certain look, etc. can fill the whole we have, the emptiness we long to fill but the one and only person who can do that is staring us right in the face. it's god, so why do we still look for these things, why are we running? |

| I think this song is talking about no one ever wants to seem like they are weak, some people are ok with showing their weaknesses but not many other people are. I think it's about someone who has had so many problems going on that they tried to fix on their own but it was too big for them to handle and they feel like everything around them is fallin on top of them. many times we don't want to confess what's wrong with us until we feel that we really can't handle it anymore. this person feels that they have an image that and they don't want anyone to think different of them, they want to impress people and please them and they build this wall that won't let anyone in. to other people they seem fine but on the inside they are burning with grief and sadness. but this person is finally letting god take over which is the way it should be, they are finally letting go and giving god the control and letting him work within them because no matter what they try to do they keep coming back to god. | |
