For some reason I interpret this song is perhaps being sung by a ghost???!???!?!?!?!!!????questionmark -I interpret it as the ghost watching his widowed lover moving on with life and him not wanting them to? |

I think the song is just in the perspective of someone convincing a close friend/lover or people not to commit suicide, almost in a mocking tone. "So this is the exemplar deathstyle you told me about; you want my seed in is this the treason I bare the fame from? my fatal freedom; the omniswansong" -this stanza sounds sarcastic. When someone performs a swan song, it's usually their last hoorah and it's supposed to be magnificent and inspirational. This person thinks killing his/her self will open peoples eyes. Obviously he thinks it's stupid. "So this is the underworld you have in your heart; you hide in your room I�m so sorry to say it only makes me laugh" - Refers to this person's ridiculous reasons for wanting to commit suicide. It only makes him laugh. The part where the glass shatters and we hear it being sweeped up is him stopping the person from cutting their wrists/throat etc. |
