| Amanda Palmer – What's The Use Of Wond'rin' (feat. Annie Clark) Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
Even though this song is a cover, Amanda used it to create her own effect on it. It seems to sound like it is about how men abuse women, and women do not know who to tell or where to go, so they continue to endure it. I don't know what Rogers and Hammerstein's meaning of it was, though. |

| Amanda Palmer – Astronaut: A Short History of Nearly Nothing Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
This song is my favorite song in the world and it has been since Sept 08. I believe it is about/in the eyes of: Bill Bryson's A Short History Of Nearly Everything. The wives of the astronauts who died in the Challenger space shuttle crash. |

| Amanda Palmer – Blake Says Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| On whokilledamandapalmer.com, the pictures beneath the lyrics are of angels and the melting of polar ice caps. This song sounds like it is mainly about global warming. And this song sounds like a song in response to or in accordance with the song "Caroline Says" by Lou Reed and that song deals with Velvet Underground. Another theme discussed in this thread. The chorus right before the electronic-sounding violin sounds like angels singing, IDK. | |
| The Dresden Dolls – Gravity Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
St Stammer is right. And also, it sounds a lot more like a girl got caught driving drunk and is getting tested. This song is incredibly amazing, but I doubt there is a deeper meaning of suicide, modeling, or eating disorders. Most TDD songs have one consistent theme. Dark themes, i.e. getting caught drunk driving. |
