I am almost completely positive that the first lines of this song on the album version are "I've got mine and so do you; mine came with a cord, I wish yours did too". As in a spinal cord - she was too spineless to call off their relationship before she started another one i.e. cheated. "Tell your new boy where I came" seems to imply some bitterness over being cheated on and backs up this lyric. Anyway he definitely does not say 'Wine' on the album version, it's distinctly 'Mine'. |
