I think this song is alright. But one part kinda ruins it for me! "They sail over oceans five fathoms deep" Do any of you know how deep a fathom is? 6 feet. So somebody's sailing over an ocean 35 feet deep.. She could mean it metaphorically, in the other sense of the word "fathom", but I doubt it. Haha. |

Beautiful song! It rips me apart; makes me want to feel things until I no longer can. During the second "and if I don't see...it's for WANT OF YOU!!!" I just break down. I can honestly say I've never had a song make me cry before, but this one does. Makes me feel not-so-hardcore. Haha =] Enjoy your day! |

I think this song is about making up. Friday is when we let go of all our insecureties, and we just go after what we want. And the writer of this song had one constant: his lover! I believe that what this song means is basically that no matter the arguments or stress or fighting, he always finds his way back to the good stuff. =] Just my two cents! |
