First things first - Yes It has been said a few times, but the lyrics are fucked. Please for the love of god, FIX THEM. Now on to the lyrics and song its self. (Now Remember, this is my OPINION; Doesn't mean it's right. As I say, "Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one." So with that out of the way, I'll move on) The aspect of this song to me is of watching someone you love try to get away from you emotionally, but not wanting to end the physical relationship. The whole process of this is new to you, and it's almost enjoyable in some horrible way its good to be the victim of this mental trap. Soon you start to feel as though they should be the victim, you want revenge in a physically abusive way, but assuring them it was for 'love'; Backstabbing them for all the times they told you "I love you" only to manipulate you. But then with that it can go one of few ways; Wanting revenge, but leaving the relationship before you get it. Getting Revenge, leaving after you have had your fun, or staying, and waiting for them to escape. Wanting Revenge; Thinking it's wrong to think such a thing about the person you love, and staying in the relationship because you aren't sure what to do. A lot of people disagree with this I know, but I was in a relationship that was like what I explained on my take of the lyrics. My ex was the type to only keep me around for company, and physical wants. So when it came to her having a bad day, and being depressed; I would do anything to cheer her up. Yet when my life was in the gutter, and I emotionally couldn't put up with her small problems. Course, her and I would get into a fight. Poor old love struck me, went with the last option I put down. That went on for about a year or more of this went on, then me being smart broke it up before I did anything stupid to myself or her. So as you see, this song is something that helped me threw 'a lot' xKiki |
