I think this song is about when you keep doing something to piss off your girlfriend (" I keep saying that I'll stop"), but you're too pridefull to stop what your doing and instead you just say you want to leave (" I know this isn't news,but I think I'm getting used to sayin' that I'll go"). Then you realize that you need her more than she needs you ("If I'm not waking up with you,why bother waking up at all?") and as long as you both love each other then "Thats what counts". I love the saxophone in this song. |
