"A sorrow so" should be "And sorrow sows." This builds the "field of tears" metaphor: seeds of sorrow return a harvest of tears. I heard "pea green sea" as "peat green sea," but I'm not too sure. "Eyelids fix" sounds closer to "eyelids affix." "All laid" is "all allayed." |
