To me this is about a girl who decides to let "her guards down".She never dared to fall in love,because she might get hurt. There could be many reasons for her to protect herself this way (fear,bad experience in her past, shyness, lack of self-confidence...whatever) But now this girl has found the right guy.Finally she realizes that she needs to let herself go,to be herself otherwise she won't become happy.She admits to her own feelings eventhough she knows she might end up getting hurt. But for her it's worth the try "I got no choice"...She gives love another try. Of course the result of this is that "I'm in love"...she's happy and this guy "makes a new me, all the emptiness is gone" It is finally happening. She has overcome her fear and fallen in love again =) I really like this song,because it shows how much struggle love can be, how the past can rule your present life but by overcoming bad experiences you can become even happier than you were before. I believe that every girl has this kind of wall she's talking about.It's good that way cause guys shouldn't just get to our heart easily. They need to show us that they're worth it first.
