I think this song is amazing and can be for anyone in any situation. I think it means that even though I love you more than anything in the world, that even though you not with me for whatever reason I will let you go to make you happy no matter how much it breaks my heart, and will always love you. It's saying I will always be there for you, and no matter how you hurt me I will still fill the same for you, and want nothing but happiness for you, and for you to never forget that your loved and cared for. That I want all those things to with you. |

I love the song, and it could mean break up, but the video is about death. I kinda think it's both. I think it's someone coming to notify him of a recent death and then all the thoughts he has as he is grieving his loss, and realizes all the things he will not get to do with her now. The little boy I think was his son, because as he is talking to the boy playing with the trucks, he says something about were he laid him, and then she tells him to tell her son hello. I am really not sure, because the song kinda sends a different message than the video does. <3<3 <33333 !! |

I am a full-time nursing student, and working a full-time job as a police dispatcher, and a mother of 2 wonderful sons, and a wife. I quit school at 15, because I got pregnant. When I heard this song, it felt like it was being sung to me. The song gives me motivation when it gets to be overwhelming and seems pointless. I think the song means your dreams are possible to reach, but there is always going to be doubt and fear inside us. There is going to be good times and bad times, but we need to be strong and keep our faith, as we keep moving forward. No matter how bad it may seem or what we may be leaving behind, or what's waiting on us at the top. It's the steps we took, the choices me made, and the lessons we learned about ourself along the way that we will remember the most ! <333333333 |

I heard a little bit of this song a couple of days ago as a ring back tone on a friends phone, and I had to hear the rest of it. So I finally find out the artist and song title, and I have listened to it nonstop. I love it and I agree with the meaning of the song everyone has posted. I also think it's meaning both chemotherapy from cancer, and 9/11. Because most of the people that lived through it are now suffering from cancer caused by all the smoke and debris that was inhaled during the attack. The song is sad, but yet amazing. It makes you stop and think about what you have and who you are, and how it all can be gone instantly. |
