ok honestly, I think its about God; its right after her song 'Him' on the album, which is about God -- look at these lines: I'm so pleased I never gave up on him Oh well you wouldn't believe some of the things that he did And everyone said you have to give him some time And I'm glad that I gave it to him cause now everything's fine About being a non-believer, she at first didn't believe in him, but everyone told her to 'give him some time' Lily Allen says: You might have thought you didn't teach me much But you taught me right from wrong And it was when you didn't keep in touch Well it taught me to be strong talks about God 'not keeping in touch' but it teaches her to be strong the ex-wife part is sort of confusing, though. . . |
