at the beginning it is " there's ten inside" not dead inside and this part "We are schizophrenic, don't stop.. No matter 'til I fuck it solo." I'm pretty sure it actually goes "we are schizophrenic don't stop no not till i fuck us all up" that makes a helluva lot more sense doesn't it?? and i cant even mention about why i like this song and what it means to me....mostly because you never know who reads this stuff.... |

That version from storytellers is the best. especially since the part where it goes "says she's tired of life, she must be tired of something" Adam changes it to "says she's sick and tired of life well everybody's tired of something" I think the second way is a whole lot better...mostly because it's true. |

This song probably struck a nerve with a lot of people because it's pretty straightforward about what's it's saying and what it means. But it actually does make me cry sometimes when I hear it. My mom doesn't have the house I grew up in anymore and the present owners did fix it up and it really is true...i never really did know how we went without.... (except I could go out my second floor bedroom window to the roof and jump down to sneak out lol)...i didn't graduate and regret that I didn't...we really did spend every quarter we had at the arcade (we were girls so it wasn't an all boy thing) and who hasn't cruised around belting out along with the radio?? but then it gets to the part about the first girl he kissed...and it makes me think of the first guy I kissed..and he was my best friend at the time.....and he's had a couple of kids since then and I really haven't seen him since god only knows when...and the whole damn thing just gets to me because it's been 12 years.....and i think maybe i just need a good cry now oh and i also think you'd have to be an emotional scarecrow not to relate to this song in some way.... |

| I always thought the line was "totally Emotionless except for her heart" which to mean seems to make more sense then just "motionless"..... but i think maybe they did the whole draggin out of the e sound from totally on purpose just so people like me will wonder which way it's supposed to be. But awesome no matter which way it is. Weird Al's "Gump" parody is pretty good too lol | |

I'm sure that at some point Billy will somehow come across this site and decide to see what people say about his music. and he's going to be pissed that you guys took something that is essentially something personal for him (because guess what? HE wrote the damn thing!) and turned it into yet another lame brainwashed ass kissing tribute to a guy who is only fixed in your minds because of how the man died. Don't get me wrong, I liked Nirvana, but some of my favorite songs of theirs are covers they did of other peoples stuff haha(think Meat Puppets) so really, Cobain's not that great. and if you're going to idolize the guy, the least you all could do is spell his name right. there is and never was nor will be, an e at the the end. Now that I said my peace about that, there's something that's bugging me about this song. I love it so don't get me wrong there, it's just that I know for a fact there is another song out there with different lyrics, but the same EXACT MUSIC as "Here Is No Why" but it's been years since I heard it...So I'm asking anybody and everybody if they know what I'm talking about....I don't know the band or the name of the song so it's really bugging me that I can't remember...and it's been about 5 or more years since I heard it...it used to get lots of radio play.....and I don't have the slightest idea what the lyrics may be.....anybody help with this? |
