Wow...he has undergone some serious changed in his beliefs about reality. Their last album was pretty obviously religious, and now he's saying that nothing is final and no one is real? SERIOUS change in mindset since the last album, and a sad one at that.... |

Also, the part about implanting the artificial speaks to the fact that technology entertainment (video games, T.V., movies, ect) has replaced our heart, our head, and our soul with abstract, subjective nothingness. |

I think it's deeper than that. Technology has allowed a "chosen few" to become the only people with any real power in the world. It has given them "immortality" in this world. The technology has caused us to lose our head, lose our souls, and there's nothing left now but mindless entertainment. This is BtA saying that technology will ruin us, or already has ruined us, and that they reject said technology. They don't need technology to be "beast" like the "chosen few". |

no...no no no....i didnt read one comment that got it...i think its pretty clear that "gods" are not actually gods...they are material possessions....these can be gods too, anything that you put before the one true God is a god...gods of violence and bigotry...this is a warning to those that worship such gods that he doesnt agree with what their doing and they need to change..."invoke the name and watch the masses turn on us"...invoke the name of Jesus Christ and watch as the world turns and hates Christians, as thoroughly described in revelations...if you pay any attention whatsoever, this entire album is filled with religious suggestions, from the title of the album right to the last song...there is also nothing in the album that is worldly or opposes anything the bible has to offer, and this is just a very strong continuation of that...think out of the box people, jeez |
