To me, this song is about trying and wanting to get over and move on from the past but having a hard to do so. "No more calling like a crow for a boy, for a body in the garden" I felt that this part, the "for a boy" part was a slip up. And the "for a body" part was added as if she's correcting herself or covering it up. Like she's telling herself she's moved on and she got over the boy from the past (ex lover?). But the slip up shows that he still crosses her mind. So she's not completely over him, no matter how much she keeps telling herself. |

hmm.. maybe the garden is metaphor of her life. like, she wants everything in her life to be right but everything seems to fall apart. so she gets depressed because she sees everyone being so happy and the fact her life sucks. But then she meets this boy who helped her through her depression and told her that she shouldn't waste her time spending so much time trying to make everything "right" and tells her to have fun. She listens to him and starts to spend time with him and falls in love. and tada! she's happy "and her flowers, they grow more beautiful every day." :D |

i'm maybe waaaaay off but this is my take on this song. it's probably about her comforting her significant other. maybe her significant other doesn't have the guts to open up to her. eventhough she doesn't understand why the person is like this, she still tries to help and comfort them. and hopes that someday the person would eventually open up to her. |

i love this song. i love regina. :D and I agree with The Agressor too. but I was thinking about her dreaming that the guy with 'VIP' sticker on his jacket could possibly mean like, the person is a very important person to her? i dont know. haha. that's just what I think. :p |
