@dreaming... i agree gaga does know what shes doing with her constant symbolism.... shes making sure everyone is WATCHING her! it means nothing.... im not going to lie in the beginning i was convinced too by people thinking theyre alot smarter than they are... but gagas prolly one of the most honest artists ever who puts her everything out there for us. all her lil monsters know everything about her upbringing especially the fact that she is a devout catholic ( hello, she italian). yes this song is about darkness. darkness is something we can all relate to and thats why its such a powerful metaphor and she knew that. now add that with two other powerful metaphor... jesus and judas and its bound to keep people interested and it also builds up controversy something that the queen of controversy knew very well. so for all those out there who are fixated on the whole illuminati idea, i will not hate, instead i will praise you for your constant dedication and endless effort to crack this mystery, because thats exactly what gag would do.
