| I've always thought of this song as being about Christians who haven't completely submitted to God. Like the term 'riding the fence'. They have one foot in the world, and one foot in the church. 'I roll with the foxes and hunt with the hounds' is like my favorite line ever. :D | |

I'm not so sure it's crucifiction... this whole album has a war theme. It almost sounds like it's from a soldier's perspeective. This part though: He was and is. He is and is to come. He was and is. He is and is to come. He holds the key. I'm not sure why it's there. It's obviously talking about God, but it doesn't seem to fit. |
