i love this song with a cracked heart because i relate to this song just a little too much [if that even made any since to you]. to me, its about caring for someone who isnt all there in it. like if you fell for your best friend... and it never kinda got to him or lasted as long as yours did or does. he is always the friend and your feelings are shining on him like the moonlight but you dont know whats going on when youre asleep untill after you wake up. in other words... you are always giving hints of your feelings for him, but it goes unnoticed (sorry, my spelling sucks.. or well, i think i spelled it wrong anyways.. lol) or its not given in a way he feels he needs and what not... then you kinda dont know what you feel but you know its something and you both know it. |

ive always thought of this song as a breakup song of sorts. where one is in love and in pain. and the other is over it all or has passed on. and as for the bees and pollen, i undersood them as the people who came to your aid when your heart is broken or memories that keep you from completly breaking down. 'When the morning came The bees flew down and wrapped themselves around me (huggs anyone?) And thats when I spoke the word (finally saying what you feel) To have them trace your face for me in pollen' ( you are not over him/her and want/need them back but only pictuers/memories are avalable) |

when i first heard this song (and liking this boy...) i feel in love with everthing about it. the music and lyrics and how it all worked together. i read up on some site that it had something to do with breaking up after a bad relationship (which made me sad). that the 'fresh feeling' was that feeling of knowing things were getting beter. that life can only get better after it all. during this part in my life i didn't want to even think abou tthat point of a relationship when i was hardly in one myself. so i always listened to the song as a love song like i thought i was. and it was all good. then the relationship (and almost our friendship) ended. now i listen to this song as, well... still a love song, but also a friendship that went through hell but got better song. *Try, try to forget What's in the past Tomorrow is here* that might not be what most people think abou thtis song but thinking this way keeps me going. keeps me moving on. |
