Oh please don't be sorry! I appreciate your effort to interpretate this beautiful song. I think you did a good job, and are heading the right direction. I personally don't think it is about Christ. That don't make sense with the whole lyric, only with the chorus. So if I read your interpretation correctly it must be something like two lovers which one of them like to change things or want the love he/she don't get. |

I quess it is about desperation, and because all hope is lost - so it seems- why not follow him. My question, in what? And what is 'it' in the chorus, 'IT has let me down'? Can other people shine their light on this question? |
