Five Finger Death Punch – Under And Over It Lyrics 14 years ago
I think this song is about how so many bands let their fame change them, and that FFDP is better than that (eg. "I'll take my sanity, you take the fame"). They're not going to let the money turn them into different people, and they won't let their label or any new fanbase let them change their sound either. The song is all about how FFDP still has it in them, and they're here to stay.

Suicide Silence – Destruction of a Statue Lyrics 14 years ago
To me this song is about having a very important person in your life, but then becoming too dependent on him/her and ruining it by that in the end. It's all about the painful feeling of destroying a bond with somebody by trying to bond too hard. It's a confusing feeling of anger towards both yourself and the person, mixed with the fact that you're still not over him/her and may well never be.

Very poweful song, really hits home.

I love this song. You can just feel the pain emulating from it.

Five Finger Death Punch – Far From Home Lyrics 16 years ago
I see this song as being about a struggle to fit in and be accepted. "Another day in this carnival of souls," and "The faces of people I'll never see again" referring to the people around you, that just don't seem to notice or care that you exist.

And it's almost like
Your heaven's trying everything
Your heaven's trying everything
To keep me out

"Your heaven" could refer to everyone's circle of friendship and relationships, and that you feel like you're being completely rejected from it.

Very powerful song.

Metallica – Master of Puppets Lyrics 16 years ago
I think the heavy beginning and its lyrics represents the urges a drug addict feels. The sudden transition to the slow calm part with no lyrics represents the return to "normalcy" once the urges are given in to and the addict uses the drug. The slow fade to the even faster and heavier ending, especially including the solo, represents a mix of the high ending and guilt for giving in to the cravings. There's more interpretation to this song than just the lyrics.

Amon Amarth – No Fear for the Setting Sun Lyrics 16 years ago
I think this song is about accepting the fact that one can and will die in battle, which is absolutely necessary to be a tru warrior in any age.

More specifically in the song, the narrator was injured in battle and left behind by his comrades, but realizes he fought and died for his cause so he has no fear or remorse of his death.
