| Simple Plan – Your Love Is a Lie Lyrics

im not big on simple plan but i like this song. maybe cuz of how i interpret it. most people think this song is about a girl who is cheating on her boyfriend and he knows. but the way i see it is that there is a girl and she has a boyfriend but the whole time she likes someone else more than her boyfriend. kinda gives a new meaning to "and do you think about me when he fucks you?" doesn't it? |

well since this song just came out today i feel like a loser being the first to try to interpret it but its such a good song that i'll do it anyway. i know im gonna get a lot of shit for this cuz the first people usually do eventually but to me its about how people do shit like take drugs or school shootings or suicide or other shit and people try to blame it on shit like music and how they grew up and all that but they do it just cuz theyve feld unloved and unnoticed for so long they are desperate and just want to get any kind of attention they can get even though it is for the wrong reasons |

| Lamb of God – Again We Rise Lyrics

i think how gtank and schoolbag 88 interpreted it is really good. but i also think that every song is about whatever you want to associate it with. for me its the same as gtank, even though i'm not from the south alot of people in my town act like they are rednecks and think the south is great and always say shit like "the south will rise again" but they don't know that the Civil War was about freedom and the rights of the states (don't know if i'm 100% correct about the civil war, we haven't studied it in school yet) but since my town is all white except for like 3 people, they think the south is about racism and ignorant shit like that. to summarize it i think its about people being ignorant about things but still thinking they know everythin. and if this is how Lamb of God wrote the song (with this specific meaning) then the title is really ironic but intentional |

even though this song wasn't written by Layne himself i think that Jerry got some inspiration for it from Layne and his drug addiction. since heroin makes you all depressed and shit (most drugs do actually) Layne was probably saying that he felt like he was going to die and end up a big pile of bones and no one would care or remember him and that he was kind of better off dead anyway. but hey thats just my interpretation of it, just like player1916 said, its about whatever we think its about just like any other song |

i agree with SoakedinMercury that the songs are about how we interpret them now how the media and everyone else wants us to interpret them. i personally think its a completely sarcastic satire song about how people always think they know someone so well that its like they are a part of the person when in all actuality they don't know shit about the person and blindly hurt them and think they are helping. thats my interpretation, you can take it or leave it for all i care

| Local H – Eddie Vedder Lyrics

i think soundgarden892 has a good idea of what its about. its kinda that in life certain people can get away with certain things that others can't. kinda like how musicians can smoke pot and do drugs but Micheal Phelps smokes a bong and the shit hits the fan. they think that people like Eddie Vedder are god because they are Eddie Vedder or whoever the fuck they are but at the same time people are doing shit that is as good, sometimes better but no one likes it because the person/people aren't famous. i'm not saying that just cuz Eddie Vedder is famous means that Pearl Jam sucks but im saying that thats what i think this song is about (not Pearl Jam but what i said before that). Local H probably named this Eddie Vedder cuz he was probably one of the most famous rock stars of the time |

| Metallica – Trapped Under Ice Lyrics

i think that this song could be about a few different things. if taken literally, i think its about being "trapped under ice" and being in an inescapable death trap of some sort. as a metaphor, it could be either two things that i can think of. one: its about feeling lonely and isolated and that you are "trapped under ice" and no one knows you exist and you feel like you aren't even there. two: even though i don't really like to interpret songs to be about drugs, i think this might be one. its about someone stuggling with their addiction to a drug, either heroin as has been suggested or meth (i thought it might be meth because of freezing references and the fact that a street name for methamphetamine is ice). and since metallica does do drugs, that could be a possibility |
