Well I just saw Shinedown live at a very small club and they were amazing. I have been listening to The Sound of Madness since it was released and know practically all the lyrics by heart. This particular song was my favorite from the beginning and even though I know the lyrics when he sang it tonight it really hit home with the fact that you have to live your life by your rules and not worry about approval from your parents. I actually broke down and cried. You have to take chances in life and go for your dreams whatever they may be. |

Having horses and riding Western for years this really is a song about a very sexy cowboy coming off the range to the saloon to drink and screw in the local whorehouse. The other cowboys want to be him and the women adore him because he is a bad-boy type and is great in bed. Since he has been on the open range for awhile he is really horny and will go all night. There is nothing sexier than a really hard, fit cowboy in tight chaps, Wrangler jeans, and cool boots with spurs.
It also means that when you get your mojo back, you are back in the saddle again and are on top of your game. |

I read Walk This Way and I agree with aerosmithgirl617, it was about a really cold long desolate winter outside of the Boston area when they lived on that farm and it was snowing and the wind was blowing and the trees had no leaves. It just was Steven's perspective of the long hard winter day and how depressing it could be. |
