Are you crazy?! You can't say that girls move on better than guys do. I think that's rubbish. And I don't think that's a reasonable interpretation, but it's an opinion, so whatever...
I think the song is beautiful regardless, and I'm not entirely sure it's just about relationships. Not all beautiful songs are about relationships. Hurt can be caused by all kinds of things. |

I would have to say that the first line is actually "I know when a song's written just like prayer," and that it's "And I drank and sang and passed in the stable" (it's The Stable Song after all) |
