The subtle ->??<- fanatic for unity Demonstratin the ghetto diplomatic immunity" Anyway, to me this is both a song just showcasing their skills as freestyle mc's (hence the title I suppose) and a more serious jab at the new wave of commercial over-produced soulless "rap-pop". |

I was about to start nagging about some minor misspelling until I put the song on, can't feel anything but happiness when I hear this amazing old-school classic. 5/5, 10/10, just brilliant all the way through. On another note, like STUBZ asked. What does "(pull out your beats), pull out your cuts" mean? My interpretation, in this context, is either "show me what you've got, without beats or editing/mixing with prewritten lyrics" as in a freestyle battle or "put some beats/music on" [cuts meaning "samples"?] (said to the DJ). Hopefully I didn't embarrass myself too much. |
