Correct me if im wrong but I believe this song is actually written about a man in the bible who's name is lazarus. I can't quite remember which chapter the stories in but basically its about a man that died and before he died his sister begged Jesus to heal him but Jesus never came. So the man died. But then Jesus performed a miracle and brought him back to life then everyone came from around the world to see the miracle he performed. I think I can see roughly how this song came from that. Just a thought. |

The line "I'll be your number one with a bullet" is a reference to what people would say about a song that was on the number one spot on the music charts. The song was already number one and it coulnd't go any higher so the only place for it to go was... down. Falling up. I think the whole song is about exactly what the chorus says. We're going down. |

This has got to be one of my favourite songs of all time. Btw I think this song was written for his ex-wife's unborn baby that she miscarried. He never knew the gender hence "would you be a happy boy or a girl". |

Lmao. I find this absolutely fucking hilarious. First of all I've just gone through a majority of the comments people have left and most of them are bullshit. The meaning of this song has been posted on here so many times its not funny. We all fucking know by now what this song is about, what inspired it, who it's about and the many MANY rumours about this song. Also I think those who keep talking about how this song is depressing, get fucked, we all know by now about this song being all "light at the end of the tunnel" and shit so its not fucking depressing. You wanna know what's depressing? BRITNEY FUCKING SPEARS. Yup everytime I hear her I want to DIE!! I gess that makes me hardcore now.
