| I think this song sounds like it's about not wanting commitment in a relationship. All the benefits with none of the obligation. I have a Monkee's boxed set of cds that has a version of this song that sounds much more up tempo and upbeat than the one that's usually heard. I like the upbeat one better, and used to consider it a sort of theme for my dating life, lol. | |
