I'm gonna have to say that he's describing a night alone somewhere in Italy with his girlfriend. Hence the "as we drag our western talks, down thousand year old blocks, vesuvius looks ashamed..." What he has with this girl is something special, he knows how perfect they are for each other. He loves her but doesn't fully comprehend the feeling "out by parallel lines (train station) i try to make sense, of this strange pulsing in my wrist (heart)." from the last few lines it seems that he is talking about the girl and how he knows she doesn't question her feelings or to figure out what exactly they mean. she's just blessed cause she knows what she has and is happy to just be there in the moment. its an amazing song. |
