I agree, He is a genius. And I believe that He had the mind to do great things. Better things than He actually did. Don't get me wrong, I can appreciate His talent He is my favourite rapper of all time. I love Tupac. In my opinion, no other rapper can even be compared to Tupac. Nobody writes lyrics like Tupac, and nobody can deliver a performance like him as well. But maybe if his lyrics weren't so offensive, his work would be studied in schools. There's so many of his songs that are just so dirty, that as well written as it is, I can't bring myself to listen to it. Maybe I'm just being a girl about it. But thats just the way I feel. |

C'mon guys, do you really believe that JayZ didn't know that Tupac was referring to his gun??? I'm sure you all believe that you are so clever. Everyone who hears this song, and actually listen's to the words knows this. You don't even have to be familiar with weapons to know this. |

Just because JayZ redid this song with a different perspective does not mean that he didn't understand the true meaning of the song. It just means that he's not so narrow minded that He couldn't put a different spin on it. Jay Z is an an amazing rapper and that is why I think that He can redo a Tupac classic and still have it sounding great. Not many people have the talent that Jay Z has, and can even touch a Legend like Tupac's song. |
