I agree with AdamZeZ, the song is about how the people who lead the world want everything they can get their hands on, and do not care if thier "Own have died" in the process of getting it. The chorus is basicly saying, when is it enough? When will it stop? How far are they going to go to get what they want? They will take away the rights of citizens so they have nothing to stop them, they send soldiers to take it for them and they do not even have an excuse that is why I like the lines "Did they even have a reason why? Countless sons and daughters left to die Can you even comprehend the pain!? Tell me" Basicly says they did it for themselves and all those of their people who died are not worth caring about, thier "souls are frozen" adn will they ever stop? Will it ever be enough to convince them to be human agian? |

| I might get insulted for saying this, but I think the song has a slightly diffrent meaning to it, while it is about Jesus Christ, I am pretty sure about that, I think it would be odd for Iced Earth (A band that very much rejects a christian god) would start to sing about a christian belief in a man thought to be god, so I think the tone of the song is mocking, basicly saying, Ha! Jesus as you are about to die, you realize that you are dying for a worthless cause, these people that you "will die for" are not thankful for you saving them, you are hated, and in these final moments you realize that and can do nothing about it. Of course this is my opinion and I might be wrong | |
