| Thrice – All The World Is Mad Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
It has little to do with the belief in evolution and more to do with the disconnect from nature. Nature is God. We salute flags and adhere to manmade lines drawn in the sand. Evolution is real. If you believe in God you should admire him more for it. |

| You miss my point. Of course none will reach perfection. And the things I really listed cannot be done "better". They are either done or they are not. They are done by people who believe in Christ's teachings for true belief always transfers to action. We believe what we do, not what we say. | |

I think we should place some focus on the end of this song. Mostly because many Christian's flat out deny the lesson it teaches. First, that any who chose their family over Christ are not worthy of Christ. Thinking of your family before any other human being is an abomination to Christ for we are all of the same father and family. Our man made definition of family has ruined this idea. The second point I want to make is that Christ demanded the giving up of all wealth and material things. To be utterly changed in to fire is not to go to heaven and join God. It is to join the kingdom of heaven on earth through the rejection of all things material. I used to call myself a Christian but, until I am able to do these things, I am not a Christian. |

| The Decemberists – The Hazards of Love 4 (The Drowned) Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
I think it's really beautiful to end the album this way but what does this say about love? The hazards of love Never more will trouble us And these hazards of love Never more will trouble us It's like he's saying love is not possible in this physical realm. Only in letting go of the material world can we truly experience love. |

| Wale – Nike Boots Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
The last verse isn't complete. this where the haters is this why they hate us here this why i hate it here though love it, I made it here we all here, from the dealers to the kids to the squares to the fly one thing we are aligned with black on black Nikes that represent the lifeless lives and it reflects the plight of those fighting so if we ain't right and always at the throats of one another at least we got our Goadome Nikes a metaphor, for the insecure if you ain't wearing no color, can't nobody say nothing one can never be judged when he dress like his brothers melancholy we are though we all learn to love it pessimistic we are carry odds like luggage and thru all our troubles we still walk around walk around (flyer than the rest of em) flyer than the rest of em flyer than the rest of em and still got my Nike Boots What a great song. It's about how we're all just trying to live and fit in but that somehow constantly puts us at each others throats. a lot of drama a lot of beef we have so much in common, starting at the feet best lines in the song :) |

| Manchester Orchestra – I Was A Lid Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| So "I can feel a hot one", a relatively mediocre song, has 80 comments where as "I was a Lid", probably one of the best songs Manchester has put out, has only 3 comments? Am I alone in my confusion? | |
