| This is my favorite DC song! It's all about how a lot of girls are so fake (with your backbone stuffed inside your purse) & will fall for any guy who just treats them nice or says he's famous. But it's also about how there are guys out there who will fall for girls for the same reasons. | |

In defense of the songwriter, when they wrote it there were still girls in the competition. So the song had to be aplicable to everyone from David Cook to Archie to Brooke White & so on. They wrote a generic song & prayed -hard- it'd get picked. Not to say I don't skip that track when it comes up on my ipod 'cause I don't think it really fits Cookie that well. But I do like the lyrics. (I like the ones Cokkie writes better, though. =p) "Looking for that Magic rainbow, on the horizon, I couldn't see it, until I let go..." Means (to me) that your trying so hard to make you dreams come true that your missing the fun, & the lessons, of the journey. So until you learn those lessons, you won't see your dreams (aka - magic rainbow). |

The first verse & chorus are from Adam's point of view & the second verse is from David's point of view. And all you know seems so far away and everything is temporary rest your head I�m permanent ---- Adam is the oldest brother (David's the middle one & Andrew is younger) so he's trying to be strong for his younger brothers I know he's living in hell every single day And so I ask oh God is there some way for me to take his place And when they say it�s all touch and go I wish I could make it go away ----Now David's talking, pretty self-explainitory... But still you say----The key phrase in the whole song IMHO because it proves that Adam was the one talking in the first verse/chorus Will you think that you�re all alone when no one�s there to hold your hand?
