well it sort of sounds like he's in love with someone rather deeply, and he knows they dont feel the same way, but because he loves them he cant help but try and convince her to love him too, or atleast return his love. she doesn't though, and he just ends up getting hurt because he loves her. I'm tearing away Pieces are falling (its a toxic love, he just keeps on getting hurt) I can't seem to make them stay (its a helpless love that makes him vulnerable) You run away (again he beleives she is in deinal of her feelings, or atleast he wants to) Faster and faster you can't seem to get away (he still beleives that she is in denial, and the theory that there's nowhere to run to when your running from yourself) |

never actually heard this song, but the lyrics could be reffering to the nature of celebrities in hollywood, and all the plastic surgery "no skin, no face, just gelatin" they change themselves so much to move their careers along,so they jsut become this object of mass-appeal "you have a sugar exoskeleton" again,could be reffering to the darker side of celelbrities, how on the outside they seem flawless and perfetct, and it may seem like there is nothing wrong, but this is all just an external image that they project of themselves to appeal to the massess. they want the pubic to think that they are perfect, but look underneath this veil, and you'll find something different. I've nevere actually heard any of their songs to listen to, so I could be completely wrong, but heh, its just my interpretation :) |

not sure what their intended meaning was, but my interpretation is its about how modern society revolves around technology so much, relating to the materialistic values of consumerism. even though people say the world could function without technology, we probably could, but its that deeply integrated into the lives of the people and the functioning of the world around them, that I'm not too sure that the world would survive for too long. but heh, we might adapt and return to cavemen if we're lucky :P |

LONG LIVE JARED LETO! xD lol well, this song could have many meanings, although they probably intended their one to be somewhere along the lines of the apolalyptic theme. anotther possible meaing i thought of was... at the beginning of the song, in the first few lines.. You know enough to know the way (all you have is what you know, so trust what you beleive in) Six billion people just one name (I found) (he could be talking about his love for a girl, ie he only sees her, amoungst the crowd) I found tomorrow in today (he sees this girl in her future, or wants to anyway, your choices now shape your future) Apocalyptic and insane, my dreams will never change (the girl he is in love with is bad for him, "apocalyptic and insane" him being with her will never work, thus the insanity of him dreaming of them being together") possible meaning, no? but it only really fits with those lines |
