Some minor and slightly bigger mistakes I noticed. "skin made of plastic" "And I'm tired, I'm tired enough to smile and shake hands with the enemy, so sit back and watch the sun choke on clouds." "Spinning thoughtless ribbons of purple and pink" "Sitting at the bus stop next to an old wiser who told me" "Said dead dead on a red rhyme that poke until it's inside of your head Go home and go to bed instead When in doubt don't let that sack of lies hit you in the eyes" Of course I'm not at all positive on this last part. Also, it would be cool if you fixed some of the punctuation errors and such. Like "(He was like a sewer, full of shit.)" "full of shit" should be the only part in parenthesis, and also there are a few missing apostrophes. If you don't, though, that's cool too. Great song. |

Stabbing yourself wasn't all that uncommon back in a day. Lincoln wrote about stabbing himself in a poem (Suicide's Soliloquy), Sepukku is a Japanese form of honorable suicide, which involves stabbing yourself, and Romeo and Juliet did it. These are just examples I know off hand. And anyways, why would you really want to see Elliott as being murdered? I think suicide is much more beautiful than homicide. At least he had the final say, pushing his own ship off into some beautiful horizon. I'd also like to note, without really elaborating, that I think there are a lot of ugly misconceptions about suicide, and it is dealt with in a totally intolerable fashion. |
