This song is just about loss, to me. Maybe someone you've been with for so long that they're just a part of your life, or maybe someone you feel safe with. But whichever, it's about losing someone you love, and remembering them. I kind of feel like she never told this person how much she loved them. "It's so wrong to wait." Maybe that's why they left. Or maybe they just died, I kept imagining someone dying when she says "When your eyes closed." Anyway, that's just my thoughts on it. It's a beautiful song, though. |
