Listen to "La Mer" by Debussy. Almost all music about the ocean is based on diminished chords because of this song. Debussy practically defined the ocean musically. |

| Oasis – I'm Outta Time Lyrics

I totally agree with the Lennon meaning, but maybe another sense could be that he's addressing his fans. He's been "flying"
(famous) for a while, but it keeps getting harder and harder so it makes him wonder. Would his fans be there for him. Maybe he's thinking if he went solo or if Oasis broke up, would they follow him or just jump on the bandwagon to the next big thing. |

When i listen to this song i think of an obsessed fan, like mel from FOC, and whoever wrote the song took advantage of her because...he could. So now he felt wierd about it and wrote a song as a form of apology. |

Definitely one of my favorites by them. This song is just about a deep, deep love for someone. Every time he sees her, he needs her. |

It's about a girl of his dreams. Sort of like when you have a great dream and you want to fall back into it, but you can't, so you just try to think up the rest. That's what he's doing when he looks out the window, he's trying to remember. |

This song is about not letting rumors and hurtful comments get to you, something that happens often in the music business. As long as your sure of yourself, and you know why you're doing what you're doing, nobody can undermine you. |

| Bob Dylan – Knockin' on Heaven's Door Lyrics

It's got a meaning a lot like "The General" by Dispatch. It's about a police officer/ some other person who wears a badge and uses a gun who realizes that there are repercussions to all his actions, and his gunshots affect more than the person who is hit. When Dylan is "knockin on heaven's door" he reaches a sort of enlightenment, now knowing he doesn't need to do what he's doing. |

I think this is about a guy who after being cured by a doctor "with a slight wave of your hand, i will be reborn a man" and he thinks the doctor can cure anything in his life. In another sense the doctor could just be a metaphor for someone who helped him his whole life, like his parents. |

| The Morning Benders – I Was Wrong Lyrics

I think this song is about some guy who's always being pushed around and told what to do and one day he realizes that by trying to make everyone else happy, he failed himself, Hence "I Was Wrong". He was wrong about his approach. "I was wrong when i said you were right" He lied to whoever the person was just to make him/her happy and he realizes it was wrong. |
