This song is one of my favourites on Beggars. The juxtaposition of such a violent end against such a peaceful demeanor about it all is totally gnarly to me. I would suggest that the song is partly inspired by Romans 8:18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. |
