Although Anberlin is indeed secular, the members of the band are all christians. I agre tthat t is bold of them to do this not labelled under a christian label, but this is not the first song they've made that has referred the bible or Hinted at Jesus/God in their songs. I am absolutely not trying to bash, I agree completely with the meaning of the song, and I appreciate such an accurate description. God bless ya man! |

as i was reading some of these comments, i saw people saying they didn't really like the song musically. i'm not scolding them for saying it, but have you guys ever thought that maybe they did it on purpose to add effect through the whole thing? anberlin doesn't need to make a song as "epic" as fin. they already have. its called fin. you say its monotonous, but if you listen to other anberlin songs not all of them are upbeat and crazy like godspeed or paperthin hymn. there's breathe, the haunting, soft skeletons, and a lot more. anberlin is a very diverse band that doesn't stick to one particular sound. |
