For me the video clears all the meanings up: She always lived in a sad and grey world when she discover the fake people around her and all the dissapointings of life...and the guy is always the one that motivate her to leave her sad meaning of life based on the past not yet left behind to something better, to get more and the best of her that in THAT state of mind she cannot achieve. He's always the one that's trying to drag her to a much happier and colorful world together but she doesn't even *try* to give him a chance to do it. (in the video, he offers his hand to get out of the chair of the "misery world"...but he always stands, she release his hand and leaves alone to the better "colorful world".) In the end of the video is even more obvious: Both look and try to reach each other, she finally understands that both are in love and together are invincible to fight against the rest of the fake and dissapointing world, they are just what they are and won't change anything, they love each other just like they are and that's a perfect relationship (in the video represented with the crowd part). But to achieve that level of happiness and love, she's got to *try* first and give the guy a chance and take his hand to start something better together. (in the video...is the last part, both together in a happy and beautiful landscape). If that is not the meaning of true love...then..¿which one is it? |

This damn song touches me everytime i hear it...obviously it's about a deep lost love that it's impossible to let go...almost everyone has one in it's life...or at least will eventually someday have to live months and years with that bitter sensation... Great song, BTW! |

This tune was my inspiration to drive a thousand miles for my always loved girl...just to tell her how i felt about her from once and for all...and i did. The result was a surprising and successful love story that i only dreamed to have with her everytime i listened this song driving to her city without any advice, just with my motivation... Unfortunately, that happiness didn't last a life how i was expecting...but goddamnit...i went out there, hit the highway and did it. |
