I may be way off here, but I listened to this song like 30 times today, and I have some ideas.
Basically it's about seeing a longtime friend in a destructive relationship (666, make me sick) and having romantic feelings well up at the sight of it. He says he knows when to turn off his moral compass so maybe he's considering doing something wrong in pursuit of that. The line "I loved her with my snot" is a little cryptic, but it makes me think of little kids, so maybe he's talking about someone he's known since early childhood. Ultimately, he's all in when gets his chance. |
