| Think the second video with cupid and the three girls explains it best. The 1st 1 is kinda jokey, but the 2nd 1 is describing how he's 'in love' with the 1st 2 girls, even tho they arent happy. This would link with the fact that it was cupid makes him love them. Then he realsies what love really is when he falls in love of his own account. And I think the chorus is sposed to be ironic, coz he's saying what good gfs they are, when really they're the best he could get and they don't get on well. That's probly why it's from a different song (Breakfast in America) and sung by Patrick Stump! His voice is sooo gorgeous in this. | I really listened to this song recently and it fitted with how I was feeling - I was struggling to explain my feelings to a guy I'm best friends with but broke up with after a relationship that didn't feel 'right'. Then they add that people will look too deeply into that lyric's meaning (thinking its sexual) when it might just be simple and innocent (something to make you happy) I think its about the people who've stuck with them and waited for their next creatins, and their encouraging them to stick about and get a good feeling out of Fall Out Boy...likey I do. |

Umm, random thought. 'Wouldn't you rather be a widow than a divorcee? Style your wake for fashion magazines' To me, that's always meant wouldn't you rather stick with me till I die than break it off partway. Which, if you relate to the band, is kinda like why don't you stick around and stay with till we burn out and break up, rather than stop being a follower when we're only partay through. And the 'style your wake part' - Has anyone thought about the wake you have after a funeral? The narrator's saying 'If you stay till I die, you could make it an amazing wake, fit for magazines and publicity' Could mean that if fans stay with the band till it finishes (which I hope it won't anytime soon!) there might be the chance to really make a 'thing' of it publicity wise?
